Please read these Terms and Conditions ("Terms and Conditions") and our Privacy Policy carefully before using CyberOZ's website (hereinafter known as"“Website"). Your access to this Website is conditioned upon your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy. These Terms and Conditions apply to all visitors, users and others who access or use this Website.

By using this Website, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you disagree with any part of these Terms and Conditions then you may not access the Website.

  1. GENERAL
    1. Thank you for visiting CyberOZ 2023. CyberOZ aims to foster global collaboration, promote knowledge exchange & awareness, and encourage innovation in the domains of Cybersecurity and IPv6. To know more about CyberOZ, please check out our About section.
    2. Please note that these terms and conditions contain a dispute resolution clause. Except where expressly mentioned, you agree that disputes relating to these terms and conditions or your use of the Website will be governed by this dispute resolution clause. You waive your right to participate in litigation or class-action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.
    3. By accepting this Agreement, you affirm that you are 18 years of age or above and are fully competent to enter into this Agreement, and to abide by and comply with this Agreement. In case you are below 18 years of age, you can use this Website only with the consent of your parents or legal guardian (s).
    4. By agreeing to these terms and conditions, you agree to the processing and storage of your personal information in accordance with our Privacy policy. In the event of any inconsistency between these Terms and Conditions and the Privacy Policy, the privacy policy shall prevail.
    5. The following terms shall have the meaning ascribed to them as defined below:
      1. Event means CyberOZ 2023 jointly organized by IPV6 Forum, University of New South Wales and CNLabs in September 2023 in Sydney;
      2. Event Venue means Council Chambers, The Chancellery (University of New South Wales, Sydney);
      3. Organizers means collectively means IPV6 Forum, University of New South Wales and CNLabs;
      4. Our means jointly the Organizers.
  2. APPLICABLE TERMS
    1. Your use of this Website is subject to the following:
      • CyberOZ's Terms and Conditions
      • CyberOZ's Privacy Policy
      • Company Name;
      • All terms and conditions stipulated by the IPv6 Forum and the University of New South Wales.
      • State laws of New South Wales and national laws of Australia.
    2. These Terms and Conditions constitute the whole agreement between us for the purposes of accessing this Website. At certain places, you may be asked to agree to additional terms and conditions. Those additional terms and conditions are hereby incorporated into these Terms and Conditions. Where those terms are inconsistent with these Terms and Conditions, the additional terms shall control.
    3. You may use this Website as long as you comply with this Agreement and applicable law.
  3. REGISTRATION AND SUBSCRIPTIONS
    1. In order to participate in CyberOZ (either as a speaker or as a participant), you may be required to submit personal information such as your first name, last name, gender, date of birth, and email address. We handle and use your personal information in accordance with our privacy policy. We encourage you to read our privacy policy carefully.
    2. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password and for restricting access to your device. We will not be responsible if someone hacks into your account or steals your personal information.
    3. CyberOZ's accounts are not transferable and therefore you agree to not sell, transfer, or exchange membership accounts or subscriptions in any way or under any circumstance.
    4. By visiting CyberOZ's website, you warrant that:
      1. You are legally capable of entering into binding contracts;
      2. Your use of the website does not violate any rules, laws or regulations.
      3. All information submitted by you (either as a participant or as a speaker) is truthful and accurate;
      4. You will maintain the accuracy of such information.
  4. PROHIBITIONS AND RESTRICTIONS
    Your use of the Website is contingent upon the following:
    1. You agree to use the Website in such a way that it does not interrupt, interfere, harm, damage, destroy or limit the smooth conclusion of the Event or the way how this Website functions. Such acts include but are not limited to: engaging in rowdy, harmful, or appropriate behaviour either onsite or offsite the event venue; disparaging or criticizing the Event or the Organizers. Such acts include but are not limited to: (i) uploading, posting, emailing, sharing, sending, or transmitting any content on our Website that contains software viruses or any other computer code, files or programs; (ii) engaging in any acts (whether onsite or offsite the Event Venue) which goes against interest or reputation of the Organizers.
    2. You agree not to interfere with the manner in which this Website maybe connected to any third-party websites, servers, platforms, or networks.
    3. You agree not to access the Website in an unauthorized manner.
    4. You agree not to impersonate any person while using this Website and conduct yourself in an offensive manner.
    5. You agree not to use the Website for any illegal purposes including but not limited to unlawful, harassing, libelous, invasion of another's privacy, abusive, threatening or obscene purposes.
  5. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS
    1. All content (including text, images, and videos) contained in this Website is owned by the Organizers or by IPv6 Forum (as the case maybe). You agree that you cannot use this material without our explicit authorization.
    2. Any content made available to you either at the Event Venue or on this Website is solely for your personal use. You are prohibited from using the content made available to you at the Event Venue or on this Website for commercial purposes unless without written authorization. You may write to us at organizers @ cyberoz.org to seek consent for using our Website for commercial purposes.
    3. We may remove commercial advertisements, affiliate links, and other forms of solicitation without notice and may terminate your account.
    4. You agree not to download, copy, republish or transmit any content without our prior written authorization.
    5. You are allowed to share the content made available to you at the Event Venue or on this Website on your personal social media channels such as Facebook, Twitter, etc provided it does not infringe anyone's intellectual property rights and provided such use does not conflict with these Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy.
    6. You undertake not to do anything at the Event Venue or on this Website which infringes upon someone else's copyright, trademarks, trade secrets, and proprietary information without their written authorization. We reserve the right to remove any infringing material posted by you if we are notified of any infringement by the intellectual property owner or their legal agent or representative.
    7. You may be allowed to submit content to us (either at the Meeting Venue or on this Website). For example, you may be able to upload a profile picture, post comments in the community and at other places. We will retain the rights over this user generated content in order to operate, market, and promote the Website. You grant us an irrevocable, perpetual, non-exclusive, transferable, fully-paid, royalty free, worldwide license to use, copy, distribute, publicly perform, publicly display, print, publish, republish, modify, translate and create derivative works of such user generated content. This license also grants us the right to sublicense the user generated content to other users so that they are able to use this content from time to time.
    8. CyberOZ ®, the CyberOZ logo, and all other CyberOZ's product or service marks are trademarks of the Organizers or the IPv6 Forum (as the case maybe). All intellectual property, trademarks, logos, images, presentations, speaker profiles, music playlist or catalogue displayed or referred at the Event Venue or on this Website belongs to the Organizers or IPv6 Forum or the Speaker (as the case maybe).
    9. You are prohibited from using, altering, removing or copying such material including CyberOZ ® logo, brand, or service mark.
  6. DISCLAIMERS
    1. If for some reason CyberOZ 2023 is cancelled, suspended, or postponed due to reasons beyond our control, we will not be held responsible. If possible, we will intimate you about any changes in the dates of the event or if there is a cancelation.
    2. CNLabs obligation to host and organize CyberOZ 2023 is to extent of support and collaboration we get from IPv6 Forum, University of New South Wales, and other partners. CNLabs will not be held responsible if there is any delay, cancellation, or any unforeseen changes which are reasonably beyond our control.
  7. RETURNS AND REFUNDS
    1. We will not be processing any returns or refunds for any tickets if you have a change of mind.
    2. In case the event if postponed, cancelled, or suspended, we will find the best possible solution to make good the loss to you. It is understood that the Organizers of the event can make good the loss to you and to others only to the extent our pocket allows.
  8. SUSPENSION & TERMINATION

    We may disallow you from attending the Event or suspend or terminate your use of the Website as a result of fraud or breach of the following: (a) Terms and Conditions; (b) Privacy Policy; (c) Breach of the applicable law. Such termination or suspension may be immediate and without notice. If you want to appeal such suspension or termination, you can write to us on : organizers@cyberoz.org

  9. LINKS TO OTHER WEBSITES & PLATFORMS
    1. We may provide links to other Websites, applications (mobile or web) or services for you to access. You agree that any access is at your sole discretion and purely for informational purposes. Neither do we review nor do we endorse those Websites, applications (mobile or web) or services. We will not be held liable for any breach occurring due to your access of those Websites, applications (mobile or web), or services including but not limited to:
      1. privacy breach
      2. copyright infringement
      3. the quality of content, products advertising, goods or other materials available on those Websites, websites or services.
    2. We will also not be responsible if there is any damage, loss, or offense caused or alleged to be caused due your access to these third-party websites, applications (mobile or web), or services.
    3. You must not create a link to our Website in such a way as to suggest any form of association, approval or endorsement on our part as none exists. We have the sole authority to consent to any third-party linking to our Website. If you wish to establish a link to our Website or enter into a commercial partnership with us, please send us an email at: organizers@cyberoz.org.
    4. If we discover that you have linked your Website, application (mobile or web), or service to our Website without taking our written authorization, we reserve the right to terminate your account and withdraw your access to the linking functionality.
  10. END USER LICENSE
    1. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to stream and share the content made available to you at the Event Venue or this Website only for your personal use and for non- commercial purposes.
    2. The content made available to you at the Event Venue or on this Website should only be used in accordance with these Terms and Conditions, our Privacy Policy, and the Australian copyright law.
    3. You agree that you will not make the content provided to you at the Event Venue or on this Website available to the public without our written authorization. This Website and the service offered on this Website is solely owned by the Organizers and your use of them must be in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
  11. GUARANTEE ON AVAILABILITY
    1. Our ability to host the Event depends upon several factors including but not limited to cordial relationship between the Organizers, the host, and us, rights clearance, technical reasons, business reasons, and others. Therefore, we do not guarantee that the Event will take place as scheduled.
    2. Your access to the Website may be occasionally restricted to allow for updates, maintenance or the introduction of new features or services. We will restore the services available on this Website as soon as is reasonably possible in the circumstance (s) of the case.
  12. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
    1. Under no circumstance shall the Organizers nor any of its officers, directors and employees, be liable to you for anything arising out of or in any way connected with your participation in the Event or the use of this Website, whether such liability is under contract, tort or otherwise.
    2. Under no circumstance shall the Organizers including its officers, directors and employees be liable for any indirect, consequential or special liability arising out of or in any way related to your participation in the Event or related to your use of this Website.
  13. ASSIGNMENT
    1. We may transfer our rights and obligations under these Terms and Conditions to any company, firm or person at any time provided it does not materially affect your rights under it.
    2. You may not transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms and Conditions to anyone else as they are personal to you.
  14. INDEMNIFICATION

    You agree to indemnify the Organizers to the fullest extent possible from and against any and all liabilities, costs, demands, causes of action, damages and expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising out of or in any way related to your breach of any of the provisions of these Terms and Conditions.

  15. SEVERABILITY

    If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be unenforceable or invalid under any applicable law, such unenforceability or invalidity shall not render these Terms and Conditions unenforceable or invalid as a whole, and such provisions shall be deleted without affecting the remaining provisions herein.

  16. VARIATION OF TERMS

    We may reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms and Conditions at any time. It is your responsibility to keep yourself updated about recent changes.

  17. WAIVER

    If there is a delay on our part in exercising our rights under these Terms and Conditions, such delay will not constitute as a waiver of that right or any other rights under these Terms and Conditions.

  18. DISPUTE RESOLUTION

    Please read these paras carefully as they require you to resolve any disputes in good faith with related to the Event with the Organizers. It also limits your ability to litigate claims in a court or before a jury or to participate in a class action or representative action with respect to a claim.

    1. If you have any question, complaint or concern (s) regarding the Event, these Terms and Conditions, our Privacy Policy, or this Website, please contact us at: organizers@cyberoz.org.
    2. In the event of any dispute or claim arising out of or relating to the use of your personal information, you will attempt in good faith to negotiate a written resolution of the matter directly between the parties. If the matter remains unresolved for sixty days after notification (via email, certified mail or personal delivery) that a dispute exists, the parties will attempt to resolve the matter via mediation. The parties shall mutually agree to appoint a mediator.
    3. The mediator will have the exclusive authority to determine the rights and liabilities of both the parties to the mediation. The dispute will not be consolidated with any other matters or joined with any other cases or parties. The award of the mediator is final and binding upon both the parties.
    4. Except as required by law, you waive any constitutional or statutory rights to go to court and have a trial in front of a judge or jury. Rather, both of us agree to resolve any disputes by mediation.
    5. You waive your rights to a jury trial unless required by law.
    6. You agree to bring any claims against the Organizers only in your individual capacity and not as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class or consolidated action
  19. ENTIRE AGREEMENT

    These Terms and Conditions including any legal notices and disclaimers, constitute the entire agreement between us in relation to your use of this Website, and supersedes all prior agreements and understandings with respect to the same.

  20. CHOICE OF LAW
    1. These Terms and Conditions are governed by the state laws of New South Wales and the federal law of Australia.
    2. These Terms and Conditions shall consider conflict-of-laws principles.
  21. NOTICES & COMMUNICATION
    1. These Terms and Conditions are subject to change at any time without notice. Please review these Terms and Conditions periodically to make sure that you are aware about the changes. We will not be held responsible if you are not aware about the recent changes to these Terms and Conditions. The recent changes can be found at the top of this policy.
